The City has been and is working on street projects. Please see the map for most of the projects. The mill and overlay project (asphalt) is complete and looks great! The Industrial Commerce Route is at the end stages and also came out great! Our largest street project includes Walnut, Spruce, Chestnut, Vine and Plum. We have been having public meetings for this project. All of these streets are currently in the design phase, but look for action in the coming months. In addition to these the street department is working on concrete patches throughout town. Our street department is one of the ten departments in the City. They are responsible for the streets, but also storm drainage, street sweeping, the burn site and many other items. They have been working extremely hard to keep these items rolling, in addition to the events we have in town. They work behind the scenes to make sure everything is running smoothly.
