Updated draft floodplain maps for Pottawatomie County are available, and an open house is underway this afternoon.
While changes within Wamego are minor and mostly impact areas already in the floodplain (primarily along creeks), property owners are encouraged to take a few minutes to review the updates and ask questions if needed.
