Fall cleanup in Wamego is about to begin. City crews will pick up your bagged leaves and clippings at the front curb. Limbs should be tied in 3’ X 3’ bundles.
We will NOT pick up plastic bags of any kind, or boxes. Only paper bags will be accepted.
The pick-up schedule is as follows, and only applies to areas within the Wamego city limits.
- Monday – November 14th – All areas east of Lincoln Ave.
- Tuesday – November 15th – all areas west of Lincoln Ave., east of Walnut St. and south of 8th St.
- Wednesday – November 16th – all areas west of Lincoln Ave. and north of 8th St.
- Thursday – November 17th – all areas west of Walnut St. and south of 8th St.
- Friday – November 18th – miscellaneous and missed pick-ups.
Please do not sweep or rake leaves into the street!
