The City of Wamego offers numerous facilities for community usage:

- Soccer Fields
- Ball Diamonds
6th Street Ball Diamonds
The 6th Street Ball Diamonds are located to the south of the 6th and Oak St. intersection. The City does not charge to reserve this location.
City Park Basketball and Pickleball Courts
The basketball and pickleball courts are located in the city park directly east of the Aquatic Center. The City does not currently reserve this location and the courts are to remain open play at all times, however, city events will take precedence when scheduled. The courts are first come-first serve and with the excitement around the new courts, we hope these guidelines will give everyone the opportunity to enjoy them.
Aquatic Center
Located at 5th and Ash. For reservation information please contact Aquatic Center staff.
Park Shelter House
The shelter house is located across the bridge by the pond and will comfortably hold approximately 70 people. The City does not charge to reserve this location.
Bandstand
The bandstand, or gazebo, is located centrally in the city park, just north of the Aquatic Center. The City does not charge to reserve this location.
Train Depot
The train depot is located on the north side of the City Park and may hold approximately 35 people. The City does not charge to reserve this location.
Train
The train runs for the public from the middle of April until the middle of October every Thursday & Saturday from 10am-noon and Sunday from 2pm - 4pm. The train does not operate if the temperature exceeds 95 degrees. The train can be rented for private parties for $100.00 per hour.
Perennial Garden
The Perennial Garden is located at the intersection of 6th and Maple St. The City does not charge to reserve this location.
