The City of Wamego has received confirmation that the boil water advisory issued for the Kaw Valley Road project area has been officially lifted. Water service in the affected area is safe for normal use, and boiling is no longer required.
This advisory was issued as a precaution following a water main break, and the City has worked closely with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) to ensure all water quality standards were met before lifting the advisory.
