The City of Wamego will be accepting sealed bids for the house on the corner of Hwy 24 and Hwy 99 commonly known as The Chrysler House. The bids will be accepted in early October. The purchase will be the buyer's risk and the buyers will be responsible for moving the home off of the current property. The land that the house is located on is NOT included in the sale, the purchase is strictly for the building.
*Although commonly known as the Chrysler House, the building on this lot is not the birthplace of Walter P. Chrysler.
