Wamego Aquatic Center Summer 2020

The Outdoor Pool Hours: September 5th, 6th and 7th  


The City of Wamego will be limiting access to the Wamego Aquatic Center.  Entry will be limited to 250 patrons.  Hours of operation will be changed to 1pm to 3pm and 4pm to 6pm daily   The main change is closing between 3 and 4pm, to allow for extra cleaning and giving different patrons a chance to visit the aquatic center.  Passes will be scanned for each entry.  Each time period will take a punch off of a punch card.  If paying admission at the door, it will be $4 for each time period.  Punch cards and cash payments will be required to provide contact names and phone numbers. The number of patrons allowed to enter and our hours will be adjusted as necessary.  We will continue to monitor the mandates regarding masks.  At this time, the City of Wamego is recommending that masks be worn while waiting in line to enter the aquatic center. 


Outdoor Pool Prices: 

Individual Pool Passes: $55.00 

Punch Passes: 10 for $30.00 ( no re-entry)

Door admission: $4.00 (children 2 and under FREE) (no re-entry)


Indoor Pool Information: Open September 8th


The Wamego Aquatic Center Indoor Pool will re-open September 8th. The hours will be 6am-8am, 9am-5pm and 6pm-8pm Monday-Friday, with weekend hours of 2pm-8pm.


Water Aerobics will be at 8:15am and 5:15pm beginning September 14th. Pool Parties will not start until October and can be held at noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Swim lessons are not scheduled and will be announced later.


People with memberships have been contacted through email. If you have not been contacted, please call City Office 785-456-9119.


Due to COVID-19, there will be a limit of 45 patrons in addition to staff. We also ask that all KDHE and CDC guidelines are followed while at Wamego Aquatic Center. Please do not enter the facility if you are ill or have been exposed.
