We must admit that although we do not even live in USA we did enjoy visiting your site on the web. All of our family live in a rather small town in Poland and if not for Virginia Peddicord of Wamego we would never be able to get to know about your town. We would like to thank her very much for that and also say hello to all of her students about whom we know from her stories. Hi Wamego. Althiugh I live in Fla. I spent many summers in the 50's and 60's on my aunt's farm and have wonderful memories of those days. Was in K.C. on business in Sept. and drove over to Wamego for the first time in approximately 30 years. Much to my delight it was almost as I had remembered it. Although many of the folks have passed on now it was special to finally be back, if only for a few hours. Glad to see the Buttercup is still there!. Relatives included the Tanner and Timmons clans.

Hey fellow Wamego types...

My family and I are coming back to beautiful Wamego area in about three weeks. I'm taking over as CSM of 1st BDE 1st ID on 24 Nov. Moving the family on post until we find a nice home in Wamego.
Sue, Kori and Christopher can't wait until we get back to home. We lived in Wamego from July 90 through July 96. Currently we are out in Washington state at Ft. Lewis preparing to come back your way.

I'm glad I found this place. It's great that my hometown of Wamego has a homepage. I doing fine out here going to college in Garden City. A lot of flatness. I've adapted well to college life and the responsibilities. It's nice to see that Wamego made it to the web! I lived in Wamego until 1987 when we moved to Ohio. Wamego's a nice community...of course I'm kind of partial since almost all of my mom's family lives there...she's part of the Elder clan. I like living in Wamego, it's a great little town. I've lived here all my life, but us kids need something to do. If we had a pool hall or somthing like Fast Eddies in Manhattan, except without the bar there would not be so many party's. I think something like that in Wamego there would not be very many party's and less kids would drink.
